Hummingbird Season is almost over. Some of the birds have already headed south. In 2018 I saw my last hummingbird on October 1st. I’ve heard that some areas in the US have hummingbirds year round. I know of someone in Portland Oregon who does, and he warms the sugar water when the temperature freezes it.

This is beautiful! Nature has it’s own way of survival. How smart they are to look for warmer places to live when the cold sets in. We will miss them, but only temporarily. Looking forward to their return!
You are 100% correct. Hummingbird Season will end here but Hummingbird Watch Season starts March 1st!
