Got some good shots with the red salvia. Well I got a lot of bad shots too. Struggling with my new camera and lens.
I do love when I get close enough to see the pollen on top of the beak. They go into those buds and they come out with pollen on their nose!
In Brazil there is a very large variety of hummingbird in the Amazon rainforest called Brasil do Colibri with more than 300 species. I’ve had the blessing of having a hummingbird in my hands twice, i have video in the garden they around me. Thank you for posting these beautiful pictures of the Hummingbirds.
How beautiful! I love them too. I define my year by when they arrive and when they leave our state!
